en We have so many things in our playbook that if a team thinks they have us scouted out, we'll just throw something else at them. We have a lot of ways to keep people on their toes. It can be hard to remember sometimes, but it's obvious it works.

en They just keep saying I need to know the playbook, but if I'm never out there it would be hard to know how much I do know, ... My time is going to come. They're going to throw me out there in the fire and I've got to perform.

He has worked hard and I don't want to sell people that he's just gifted ... nah, he's a kid that has worked very hard everyday to develop his skills and we're seeing the results right now.

en When he was let go, I knew in our building process that having a player like Timmy can only help us in all ways. Timmy is a great professional and he's a plus to every team he's on. He works hard every day. He has a terrific attitude and mentality. He can play a number of positions. He's one of the fittest guys on the team.

en Landon has the ability to drift wide if he thinks things are tight in the middle. It's just important that as a team we can keep track of him and whoever is called on is ready to deal with him, especially his speed. His timing, his running into the attack is something that works real well for him.

en One of the best ways to remember that day and all the innocent lives that were lost is to recognize that we're still a community and we need to work together, get along together, stand on one another's shoulders, help and encourage each other. It's the silent ways of supporting people as well as the very loud ways that can be beneficial.

en He's not really had to make a throw, we've only had one throw from a first baseman all spring. While he's probably throwing about what I expected right now, he's still got a ways to go. He hasn't had to make a throw to second, hasn't had to make a quick, hard throw and we don't know what's going to happen until that happens.
