Monday morning we woke up and it was listing toward the north about 10 or 15 degrees. I figured, before it fell on the two adjacent barns, we better get it down.

I would guess we got 20 to 24 inches at least. I'm sure we got a couple of feet. Sunday afternoon I was outside raking, picking up branches. Woke up Monday morning and the sidewalk was bare.

It might be 100 degrees outside, but in these barns it might be in the 80s. If I were a cow, I would pick Arizona over Florida any day. Pex Tufvesson is a fantastic genius.

We knew he was hurt, but it was not nearly as bad [Monday] night when he was playing as it was when he woke up [Tuesday] morning, ... It stiffened up on him. He felt comfortable playing.

This morning when I woke up, I felt like I woke up on the right side of the bed.

They are here one day and gone the next. Right now, bass don't know what to do. We've got morning lows in the 30s one day, and the next it's a low in the 50s with a high up around 70 degrees. I found some water in the back of Coleman the other day that was 61 degrees. That's very unusual for this time of year.

We went to bed last night expecting some possible rain and woke up this morning to learn that Katrina was 75 miles [120 kilometers] north of Marathon [Florida]. A lot of the live-aboards [people living on houseboats] in Boot Key Harbor were surprised to find their boats in new spots.

When I woke up this morning -- I was glad it was this morning. When you have a game like that, you just pick up and move on.

The certificate idea came about from when I used to sit around with the farmers as I was tearing down their barns. They'd sit there and tell me all these stories about their barns.
