We've been working a lot on ourselves this week. We've had good leads in both of our games so far going into the fourth quarter and then we kind of slacked up and let them (Stringer and Pisgah) come back. I really liked how we started the fourth quarter. Things were not going our way to end the third quarter. We were not getting all the calls. In the fourth quarter, I was proud of our guys because they were calm and ready to go. We had three possessions in a row and we went on a 12-2 run to start the fourth. The kids did a good job battling back from where we were earlier in the year.

I felt Tommy had settled down (after the first two interceptions), ... ... He did a good job with the no-huddle element as we went into the fourth quarter. I did not think about (third-stringer) Charlie (Batch) or Ben.

We seem to come out flat and claw our way back into games in the second half and even fourth quarter. It happened in the fourth quarter today - I just wish we had another minute to play.

It was a good game and the boys are still playing hard, but we ran out of gas in the fourth quarter. We've had five games get away from us in the fourth quarter that we could have won. You have to finish.

Our biggest struggle the whole year has been in the fourth quarter. We've had leads late and we've had trouble having people step up in the fourth quarter.

It's a combination of things. Against Cleveland in the first game, we didn't shoot the ball well. Against Chicago, they were a little more aggressive. Tonight they got hot at the right time. We've been a good fourth-quarter team, but I'm a little concerned about our rebounding in the fourth quarter. One of our goals was not to lose three in a row. We've bounced back all year, so we've got to bounce back now.

That's one of those games where it could have been very difficult to recover from. I'm much more comfortable, coming back the way we played this fourth quarter, than really any other fourth quarter that we played so far this year.

It's good to learn from a win like this because it could have very easily went the other way. We have to understand that it's probably going to be like this every single week that we play the rest of the season. We're going to have to get used to winning close games in the fourth quarter. Hopefully, the experience of tonight will pay off down the line against somebody.

If we would have maybe closed some of those games where we had leads going into the fourth, or the last four minutes, we could be right there. We've beaten some good teams. I think if some of those games would have went our way, we'd be in the playoffs, but they didn't. I think we have the talent here. We just have to pull it together and execute better.

Jeter hit the ball pretty good that game. Watson Chapel played two games while we were on Spring Break. We were a little rusty with the bats. I think that might have hurt us a little bit. But the good thing is we didn't have any conference games this week. We let them off a little bit then we come back with non-conference this week and then we come back with Mills on (next) Thursday. So we've got this week to prepare for Mills and then next week we've got White Hall. By then, a lot of things will start shaping up.

We were not playing well there in the third quarter. Pop went out there and took one for the team. We came back strong in the fourth quarter. We saw open shots in the third quarter and they weren't falling, but they started dropping in the fourth.

I think I'm still not in great shape now because it's only been two games. We struggled scoring in the fourth quarter and let them back in the game. But we played pretty good defense the last couple of minutes.
