We have a lot ordsprog

en We have a lot of talent for a nonscholarship team. People just don't understand. They're thinking, 'nonscholarship, I-AA, midmajor.' Don't let that fool you. This is a whole other level. It doesn't get better than this.

en Memphis' talent level is so high and they play hard. ... They are on a different level talent-wise, and we could not guard anybody. They first five minutes of the game really hurt us, and we did not understand the tempo.

en He told us that the last four or five years, he sat back and watched the Pittsburgh Pirates from the opponents' bench and he couldn't (understand) why a team with so much talent couldn't reach its talent level -- or strive to reach it. It boils down to little things. Teams who pitch and catch and do the little things are usually at the top of their division. This team has that capability.

en We're changing the talent level and you really need to be careful about your effort every day and you can lose (your spot). A lot of our talent is younger talent and just because you're an older guy doesn't mean you're going to be guaranteed a slot.

en Our No. 1 priority was to keep our team intact, and we did that. I think the team feels it's good. It sees the talent level we have. You can't fool players. Players know players. I think our team feels we're going to be a good team.

en I don't think there's any question (Anthony should be on the team). The thing that Melo has to understand is probably his team concepts. I think everybody has seen his talent, his defense, his trust, developing those things. What we're seeing, and I think most U.S. Olympic people are feeling, is we've got to put a team on the court.

en Paper doesn't mean anything to us. It's about going out there and playing together. It's about chemistry and people accepting roles. More talent doesn't always mean you're a better team.
