I've been trying to get back in the flow of things. I was feeling pretty good before the game started.

It was feeling pretty good before the game on Friday, ... It wasn't feeling 100 percent, but it was feeling pretty good. Then I tweaked it a little bit during the game and that set it back a little bit. That's where we are now. I suffered a setback.

We were on our heels early on. A lot of guys were nervous, first time representing their country. It took a little while for them to get into the game. But they started feeling comfortable and once we got things going I thought we had some real good scoring opportunities and did a pretty good job defensively.

Right now, I'm feeling pretty good. I'll get some more things looked at, make sure I'm all right. But I came back at the end of the game, and I expect to be out there next week.

If we hit shots, we look pretty good. They changed and went to pressure, and I thought we started to do some things that we can't do. When that happened, Lanphier got back in the game.

Things started out alright and then tapered off, ... We did some good things, we did some bad things. It?s always good to get out there and get that experience and feeling for being out there in game situations.

We knew Chase County has some good athletes and we knew they were going to come after us. They started in a man-to-man and we were able to execute some pretty good offense. We did a lot of good things on defense. It's a pretty good win. In the second half, we got tentative and Chase County turned up the heat a little and made it a little more difficult for us to flow.

Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. Defensively, I thought we played the run pretty darn well. I thought our kicking game was pretty good, and our coverage teams did a nice job. That's good, but we didn't take advantage of some situations.

Jimmy did a lot of good things offensively. We're just trying to get Jimmy back into the flow. He started to really get back into a rhythm there late.

He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. Toward the tail end of the third, we started getting back to our game. We usually run the floor pretty well, pass pretty well and play pretty good defense.

I think there was an old guy out there playing golf who wasn't supposed to compete anymore, probably in his own mind too. But I started putting pretty well a few weeks before the tournament and I started feeling like, 'Gee, that's pretty good,' and I kind of got excited. I made a lot of putts.

My first week back was January 14th or 17th, so my mat time compared to everyone else is pretty slim. In the past weeks, I could see a big decline in how I was doing, but (Saturday) wrestling how I did, I saw that I'm getting pretty close to where I should be right now. I'm feeling really good about things.

We started off pretty fired up and intense. The third or fourth game we started to unravel a bit. I was proud that we fought back. Valley is a very good team, and they're scrappy. They're a bit smaller than us, but they work hard.

We scored some good goals, and then unfortunately, we had a lot of players that wanted to do a lot of things on their own, and the quality of the play dropped. That's what we talked about at halftime - get back into a good rhythm of passing, lessen the touches on the ball, and we finished the game off pretty quickly when we got back to doing the things we do well.

We (went) just a little bit back to where we were before this run. We started the game pretty good, but as the game went on, we were just waiting and hoping. We got off what (we do well). Don't know why. But that's what happens: a 2-1 loss.
