en I think there was an old guy out there playing golf who wasn't supposed to compete anymore, probably in his own mind too. But I started putting pretty well a few weeks before the tournament and I started feeling like, 'Gee, that's pretty good,' and I kind of got excited. I made a lot of putts.

en That whole last nine holes wasn't too bad. That was a nice two-hour moment. I think a lot of what it is, there was an old guy out there playing golf who wasn't supposed to compete anymore. And in his own mind, too.

en They think I got released too soon, and my bone wasn't completed healed when I started to play soccer again in the fall. Then I started playing basketball. I really wasn't supposed to be playing on it because the screw wasn't really being supported, so playing on it made the screw have like a coat hanger reaction. With me playing, I was taking a risk of breaking the screw again. That's what was causing the pain; I was bending that screw.

en I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

en He made the turn at par as our first man out. Dusty was playing well, Drew was 2-under at the turn. We were feeling pretty good, but you never want to get too excited. There was a lot of golf to play.

en I hit it pretty good today. I'm finally making more putts too. I started working so hard on putting that it got maddening. I finally said the heck with it. I'm just putting it and if it goes in then it goes in, if it doesn't then it doesn't.

en I don't know if I can put a percentage on it. It's tough to say. Some days are a little better than other days. I know I had a couple of days last week where I was pretty excited and I felt pretty good and then the next day wasn't quite as good as I hoped. I think I've been pretty happy with the progress that we've made so far. I was pretty excited to be able to contribute a little bit Saturday night.

en I think we're all feeling pretty healthy. I'm feeling pretty good. So, with that in mind, it's all coming together and I'm excited about hitting the playoffs.

en Last year, I started so far back I was just hoping to get off to a good start and maybe play a good front nine and see what would happen on the back. I started getting some birdies around (Nos.) 7, 9, 10 and 11 and that's when I felt I was going to have a chance. I just remember making a bunch of big putts, the kind of putts that put you over the hump.

en The course is playing very tough out there. I hit the ball pretty well. I only missed four greens, which is a pretty good start out there. Other than that, I actually made a lot of good putts. I can't complain.

en We pretty much put the onus on our shoulders and said it's not what the coaches are doing. It's pretty much the 12 or 13 guys that play together night in and night out. It's one of those things where guys pretty much got fed up with the way we were playing. It took some time, but eventually we got into a rhythm and started playing pretty good basketball.

en I kind of forgot what he said. I was really excited and trying not to look all embarrassed. I know we started playing ball, and he asked me what position I play. He asked me when I started playing. (Crisp) said he started playing when he was nine.

en It was real fun. I was more out of shape than I thought I was. The first half I started out bad. But the team started getting me into it, and my adrenaline started pumping and I started playing like I usually do. I started feeling a rhythm.

en We were at 10,000 feet in Utah and I was running out of gas. I was in boots that were leather-soled. The bear was closing in. Now, he's supposed to be playing. Once I started to run, he got really excited. Pretty soon he was chasing me. And I said if this guy gets me, his idea of play is going to be the end of me. So I threw the rifle out and got on that tree so fast. Now, once it was done, I mean, I was sweating bullets. I said, not again. Not again.
