We want to get home badly and stay a while. It's tough living out of a suitcase. It feels like we're still in Spring Training.

Definitely coming from a different organization and taking a big step, I want to get comfortable and not be living out of a suitcase for the whole spring training and having my family do the same. It was a move that I felt was good for me and for my family.

They're making it tough. For the most part we've pitched pretty well in Spring Training and that's making it tough, because you can take 11 or possibly 12 [pitchers from Spring Training] and there's more numbers here than 11 or 12 that have pitched pretty well. So, in another two weeks and three days, we'll see what happens.

In that situation, you just try to get the guy on third home. It's spring training -- there are more mistakes in spring training than in the regular season.

Eastern Kentucky was a suitcase college. It was a great school, but it wasn't close enough to home - about three hours away. We traveled a lot with the volleyball team, and that was nice. But in the fall and spring, the college was deserted on weekends. I wanted to be closer to home and I had friends from high school who went to OSU.
