They're a team who ordsprog

en They're a team who makes a lot of runs and really gets energized. Our first mission was to take away their transition offense. That's where they get half their points from. If we took that away, we'd be in great shape.

en I really believe it starts with defense because when we can get stops, we can go into transition on offense. It gives you confidence and it makes the other team frustrated. We played good defense and it helped our offense.

en We talked at halftime about giving up easy baskets in the first half. I think half their points were on transition off from our misses and turnovers. We got about five or six stops out of seven of their possessions. I think the first four or five minutes of the third quarter we played great defense.

en Our defense got us some transition baskets. That's what really got us energized, and got us going. We were kind of tentative in the first half.

en They do a great job on the outlet. Those freshmen are really the key to what they do. Nearly half of their points occurred off transition.

en We were two points away from making it an even game. But in the second half we didn't get those stops and convert those points in transition like we did in the first half. That was the difference.

en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

en We had about seven straight possessions where we got stops in the third quarter. We really stepped up our defense tonight. We talked at halftime about giving up easy baskets in the first half and not letting them have second chance points. I think half their points were in transition off turnovers.

en You have to stop their transition game and you have to make them take tough shots. We gave up 20 points in transition in the first half in that (loss). You just can't do that.

en You've got a tremendous weapon in Peyton and what you want to do is take advantage of it. This game and this team and this offense is not about Tom Moore. This offense is about players. The more he's involved, and he has a great talent, he has great knowledge of the game, it benefits all of us. And it makes the game fun for him and it makes the game a challenge for him. He's so good at it, you want to take advantage and use it.

en It's just the second game. We don't feel like we're at our peak yet. But to hold a great offense to 17 points is something you can be proud of. But in no way, shape or form are we satisfied with how we played. We know we can play better.

en Our defense drives us and our offense plays better when our defense makes big plays, ... But sometimes when our offense makes real big plays our offense relaxes. But Chase is doing a great job settling in and running this offense. Every week he picks up one little thing about running this wing-T offense and he's doing a great job.

en Henry Melton made some really good, physical runs today and has a couple of other days as well. It will be a hard decision to see how much he plays defense compared to offense because we liked the way he looked (on offense). He's in better shape. He's running with lower pads. He made a couple of really key runs today.

en Our guys did a tremendous job on the defensive end of the floor. We're a team that applies a lot of pressure and tries to use our defense to jump-start our offense. We were able to force some turnovers and turn them into transition points tonight.

en Those guys came in off the bench and did a great job. In the last six and a half minutes of the third quarter, they held Johnson to six points and scored 18. That kind of depth and energy coming off the bench makes us a more difficult team to play against. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. Those guys came in off the bench and did a great job. In the last six and a half minutes of the third quarter, they held Johnson to six points and scored 18.
