There are no very significant indicators that the market is getting too expensive.

It looks like confidence has slowly returned to the equity market. We have seen very strong growth indicators and more benign inflation indicators -- that is an ideal scenario.

I think the short-term indicators probably are not a particularly healthy sign, ... Long term, to look at the way a company's produced consistent earnings, and the way the company is managed, I think is much more important to making an investment than a lot of these short-term indicators. But, in a bull market, there's no such thing as bad news. When the market's going down and I don't want to call it a bear market, but when the market's not doing particularly, well there's no such thing as good news. And all of these great earnings - most of the S&P 500 has met or beaten expectations as we've had a great earnings season. And the market doesn't really seem to care. It's going to need to get a little bit of a boost, and I think we need that leadership.

In this volatile market, the best procedure is to buy on dips. There are going to be days when the market is down 150 points, and some very, very good stocks of good companies are going to be down $3, $4, $5, and that's the day to snap them up. Stocks are expensive, but they're expensive for a good reason. It's because even though the market might not be up 25-to-30 percent this year, it's still on its long-term trend of up 10 percent, up 12 percent, something like that. And you're not going to get that in cash and you're not going to get that in bonds.

This is a market that needed a correction. It just had this huge run since late spring that in many cases took the most expensive stocks and made them more expensive.

The problem is that labor has basically priced itself out of the market. We had a very sharp run up in compensation costs in the late 1990s. People got too expensive and they're still too expensive. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability.

The market needed one economic number to put the bear market drop to bed. We got three; Employment, leading economic indicators and housing. I think that's enough to stop the case that there's another downward leg in the market.

It appears our least expensive source of wholesale energy is based on the most expensive KCPL generating unit operating, ... As bad as that is, it is better than paying market rates.

I think the HP earnings had the market set off earlier this morning, ... I think the market generally has a positive tone in respect to the economic indicators and the hope for the future.

The PCE deflator will be extremely important today. The market looks at this very much as one of Fed's main indicators. If it's strong the market will not only be looking for a rate hike at this meeting but next time around as well.

I think the HP earnings had the market set off earlier this morning. I think the market generally has a positive tone in respect to the economic indicators and the hope for the future.

There was no market whatsoever. There have been no U.S. indicators today that could show us direction, nothing. The market was seeking a motive to move, but it only could digest yesterday's words by (Fed Chairman Alan) Greenspan.

The stock market rally today is because we drove the market down to levels that were on the cheap side and when you get news like the leading indicators saying things are going to be good for the economy and profits, that attracts buyers.

Having said that, the leading indicators of GDP are pointing to a very significant slowdown. From here it would appear growth for the final quarter will slow and for the first few months of next year as well.

This gives us a significant increase in our long-term savings business, ... But more importantly, it is a significant increase in the fast-growing market for high-net-worth customers, which is not a market we're very heavily exposed to through our existing businesses.
