I totally understand all the bad press, ... It's not about the book, but the ideas in it and the way these guys speak. But on the other hand, this is how these guys speak when they're together. So if I wrote a book that was unassailable in that direction, it wouldn't be an honest book . He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. .. if a guy was open about his sexual feelings all the time, he would become a total outcast.

It totally sounds like an advice book, ... but there's not a shred of advice in the entire book, which is good for any of your readers. It's a novel. It's a humor book. It's sort of a what-if scenario of what would happen if you took a B-movie actor, meaning me -- I take the lead role in the book -- and put him into a big Hollywood movie. The answer is that it's not good. It's a misadventure. I single-handedly take down a big Hollywood movie.

All literature consists of whatever the writer thinks is cool. The reader will like the book to the degree that he agrees with the writer about what's cool.

And the Book shall be placed, then you will see the guilty fearing from what is in it, and they will say: Ah! woe to us! what a book is this! it does not omit a small one nor a great one, but numbers them (all); and what they had done they shall find present (there); and your Lord does not deal unjustly with anyone.

I hope someone sees my balloon with the Harry Potter book name on it because I'd like them to read it. I'm sure they'd like it because they know how to do magic in the book and there's a lot of cool stuff and stuff that's not real.

Dude, we took Fireball Ministry out on our last Europe tour, ... We were so psyched on them that we asked them to come back. They put on a really good show and they're almost like the new Black Sabbath in my book. The Knives are really cool too. We've been friends with them forever. They have a cool Queens Of The Stone Age-type vibe. I just got their record and I like it a lot.

There are people already sharing eBooks out there, ... and they do it simply because they love books. You don't buy a second copy of a book, cut the spine off, lay each page on a scanner, run that .tif through an OCR (Optical Character Reader), hand edit the resulting output for errors and then post it online if you don't love the book. it can up to 80 hours to turn a printed novel into an eBook. I figure if someone out there is willing to put in 80 hours of work promoting my book, then I'd prefer they do it in a way that gives a better return to me.

In the 1970s, though, Fonda became a controversial figure when she publicly opposed the Vietnam War. I love this book. I really do...I am so pleased to have Jane Fonda back on this program. I love this book. You know that.

Last year was totally opposite. My numbers - it's just one of those years. I don't know if the wind was blowing in or it was a little cold or the balls were flying out. If I did it every year, there would be something to it. But last year was totally opposite, so I have no clue what the difference is.

We started in '94, before it was cool. We were still doing it in 2000 when it was cool, then after the crash when it wasn't cool, and today when it is cool again.
