I am very impressed with the girls because they came out today to play and we looked good. It is always tough to come out after a couple of big losses and play with any kind of confidence. But the girls did just that.

This was huge for the girls confidence. I don't think they realize yet how good they can be this year. Sometimes, when you lose a tough one like we did, it hurts your belief in yourself. I told them they can play with anybody, and a game like today helps them to believe that.

We're a little disappointed, but the girls didn't show up to play. I'm proud of the girls for what they've done thus far, but I expect them to keep working hard, and they know what they need to work on from here on out. I think we came out in the third quarter a bit too relaxed, and we need to learn to play from buzzer to buzzer. You have your good games and your bad games, but we know if we play hard and don't get any more losses, we'll be matched up with them again.

I?m really proud of the efforts of the girls today. This was a very tough team from Georgetown, and our girls showed they can play with anyone, from any state.

We turned a corner today. Our two losses were against very good teams, Narragansett and St. Bernard's. It was two tough games in a row and I think it kind of got the girls down a little bit. But today we had solid teamwork, a lot of good passing and a lot of good teamwork. They're really pumped up now and you could see it in the scoring, which was really spread around.

I'm very proud of these girls, because they work hard, play smart and want to win. Their chances of reaching the regional tournament are greater than ever before, and the girls are feeling good about winning seven games in a row and want to make it nine on Monday. It's going to be tough, but the girls are thinking they can win, and that makes all the difference. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring.

It was a real slow start for the girls. Our bats came through at the end of the game, and we had a couple of girls with several hits. The girls were able to come back and play as a team.

That's the nice thing about it. You get a group of girls and see which ones are going to step to the front, and I was quite impressed with everyone on the team. But most importantly the Severn girls came to play.

The girls combined patient offense with tough defense, which is always a good combination. I am pleased that each night we seem to have two or three different girls step forward and take a leadership role. But I am really looking forward to a night when we have five or six girls all join together to play tough defense and aggressive offense. That will be super.

Those (Ripon) girls play exceptionally well. With (Krista) Jones still out and Ashley Brady with the flu, it was tough. But my girls ran hard; they played hard. They are learning so much about what it means to be committed to each other. I couldn't be happier with my girls.

It was pretty tough because we went in with all our confidence. I thought we gave it everything, but somehow they blew some of the girls off the court. That's how they play-like top dogs-so we are looking forward to a good fight.

The layoff is always hard and we felt as if we were rusty in the first half as well, and it took us a while to get through that. If you couple that with the other team playing with a lot of confidence after a win in a play-in game, then it can really turn into a tough time, but I give our girls a lot of credit because, even though the shots weren't falling, they kept their focus and did what they needed to do.

We had six, lost three, then gained three, and have six again. We have a nice group. Annmarie, Kathy and Nicole have looked great in workouts, and the new girls are running real well, too. We have six good girls who run in a pack. I don't know how we'll do, but I think we'll be tough to beat.

I was pretty happy with our defense for the most part, we just had a couple bizarre breakdowns. Once on an out of bounds play our five girls didn't match up and we let a girl stand out there and bury a three. A couple times we didn't know our assignments and left girls alone.

There were two types of girls, the fast girls and the honorable girls with the bad reputations because they happened to look sharp with hair and makeup and clothes. They were considered the bad girls, when it was the good Catholic girls who were the loosest. Appearances were deceptive then.
