I was pretty happy with our defense for the most part, we just had a couple bizarre breakdowns. Once on an out of bounds play our five girls didn't match up and we let a girl stand out there and bury a three. A couple times we didn't know our assignments and left girls alone.

Our pressure didn't give them any easy looks. The girls worked hard. This is a real tough team ? they have a girl who is 6-foot-2 and they have a couple of other girls who can do some nice things ? so if you don't come in prepared they could surprise you.

This is a really big win. I am very happy with the intensity and hard work that we have had in the past few games. We didn't have that in the last couple of regular-season games. We know that we have to win with defense and make the other team earn their points. The girls have done a good job of doing that.

We didn't do a good job of playing our assignments. We didn't play our assignments on offense, defense or on special teams. When you don't play your assignments things like blocked punts happen.

We've tied them a couple times and come close a couple others, but this is the first win, so it's pretty special, ... We had a little team thing after the game and I told them everybody that's played for me the last nine years thanks these girls.

It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. It is pretty bizarre to see that many girls from the same class choose to go to the same college, ... especially when you consider the size of the school and the (high) academic standards. I think all of the girls will be happy with the choice. It looks like a great school. We're very happy Sam got in there.

Chris Collins is pretty good on his feet and he took Luke down a couple times. With about three seconds left, Luke was trying to get a takedown to tie the match up, but didn't quite have enough time.

It was a real slow start for the girls. Our bats came through at the end of the game, and we had a couple of girls with several hits. The girls were able to come back and play as a team.

The girls didn't want to be the team that ended the streak. They got behind a couple of times, but they never quit, they never lost their composure.

Our girls had a good day. We matched up well with them. Our No. 1 girl challenged their top two. They had a couple of extra steps. Our three, four and five runners were moving well. Our girls have always been late bloomers. I'm hoping that happens again this year.

I thought a couple of times we had mental lapses, and (Tattnall Square) took advantage of those couple of times. Overall, I thought we played well. We had a few missed assignments, and we left them open for 3-pointers and they hit every one we left them open for.

We had some breakdowns defensively. A couple of them were in transition where we missed a shot and didn't match up well. We weren't shooting the ball great early and probably got a little bit frustrated and didn't pay attention in transition like we needed to.

I was happy with our defense. The girls showed up ready to play. We didn't have a mental lapse like we have been.

She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.

People tell me to stop preaching but I tell them I have every right to do this 'cause I've lived both lives. These girls you see right now, I've been there. You know how much further I would be in life if I just laid down a couple of times or got on my knees a couple of times?
