en Josh did a great job in middle relief last year. He has the mentality that when he comes in, nothing shakes him up.

en One thing I've always thought about Josh, even from the time he showed up for his first spring training [in 2000] with all the hype, is that he wants to be great. I don't think he's one of those guys who says, 'I hope I'm a .500 pitcher because .500 pitchers make $6 million a year now.' He doesn't have that mentality. He truly wants to be great.

en Josh did a great job tonight, but it's not just tonight. He's done well the last several games and in practice. When Josh is playing well, it gives us a lot of versatility. When Josh is hitting shots and doing a great job on the boards, it gives us a lot more options.

en Josh really needed to red-shirt last year, and he's made great progress. There has never been a question about Josh's strength because he bench-presses the world. He knows he has to improve on his footwork and he's now accustomed to the tempo at this level. He's getting better every day.
