He really worked hard to get to this point. He came back this year with improved command. He's putting pitches where he wants them.

He's the kind of guy that has a very resilient arm. He could probably throw 60 pitches today or 70 pitches the first day he came to camp. Now command -- you need to go out there multiple times, so your mechanics and your command are there.

It just really comes back to his command of the baseball. He's making a lot of pitches right in the middle of the zone. He needs to be fine with his pitches and hit his spots. When he does that, he gets guys out.

In the back of my mind I wanted to come in here and throw well based on my last outing. I fell into a groove last year to start the season, then I had that chest strain.
