Last year, we had a lot of new, young faces. It was Scott's first training camp with them. But now they've spent a whole year with Scott. We had some success. Now we should be able to step on the practice floor this week and have the attitude we're going to pick up where we left off.

It explains Scott was helping to rebuild a deck at a home for battered women and noticed that an approximate 22 year old young man was staring at him. It was Scott's claim that he had tutored this young man as a child at St. Vincent de Paul Center for Homeless Children when he was in high school.

But they looked across that courtroom and they saw another stone-faced, emotionless, sometimes even happy Scott Peterson. That complete disconnect was what destroyed Scott Peterson. Ultimately, the strongest piece of evidence against Scott was Scott himself.

I was hoping for just a note or a phone call. Once Scott found out, this is just the type of guy he is, he just asked, 'Would he mind if I came down and spent the afternoon with him?' I didn't ask Scott for that, he just volunteered.

Last year consumers on average spent $500 more for the year on gas. This year it could go up to $1,000. This is what Lee Scott is worried about. The average American has $2,400 in discretionary spending. A Wal-Mart shopper probably has $1,500. Now take out the $1,000 extra and what does that leave them?

If we win tomorrow, Roy will be mad at recommending Scott seven years ago. I was at the Nike camp, and I was ? standing behind Roy Williams and asked him to recommend somebody. He said 'I'm not sure he's available, but I think Scott Cherry is the guy you're looking for.' I was looking for a point guard, a leader, somebody who knew how to run a team.

We have had good reports on Scott's form despite Aldershot's lack of success and when they rang to ask if Scott could stay we were pleased to help,

On paper we are better than the team that got third at nationals two years ago. The catch with this group is they are all freshman except for Scott and Ryan. But we are very excited about the group's talent. Their ability to get along and support each other has been wonderful. Whatever success we have this year, we are set up to have even more success next year.

There's no difference right now in the stature right now of the Brier or the Scott - that's the bottom line. This is a four-year plan and understanding all the facts it was a good success for Year 1.

Who would have known Gabe Scott would have that type of year? We need someone to step up this year like he did last year.

I know it certainly didn't fare well for Scott Dixon, but I don't think that was through any fault of his own, ... That year, things didn't go their way. They had some bad luck. I don't think that was down to Scott. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection.

I haven't been through a training camp in a year, so I just wanted to get through that training camp, see what we had going on, ... Give the young guys a chance to shine.

Now is the time for players like [Kevin] Thomson and [Scott] Brown and other young players to step forward and take on the mantle left by Guillaume.

We got used to not having him around. We really have a sense of what it's going to be like without Scott Stevens. At the same time we're going to have to learn about life without Scott Niedermayer, too. It's two tough blows to take if Scott (Stevens) doesn't come back.
