We expect to report an operating margin between 2 percent and 4 percent, and that should bring us to a net loss for the full year. And for full-year, we are using an assumed fuel price of $1.92 (for a gallon of jet fuel). So, basically, $1.92 in the first quarter and an average of about $2 for each of the remaining three quarters.

Although operating earnings for both the fourth quarter and the full year 2005 have improved significantly despite an increase in system fuel price of over 40 percent, we know we can do better. We will continue to contain costs, apply sound revenue management and deliver consistent service to our customers.

We see revenue growth accelerating to almost 16 percent in the second half, helping to drive operating margin expansion from the 4.5 percent recorded in first quarter 2000, and the 5.4 percent that we expect this quarter, to 6.3 percent and 8.2 percent in the third and fourth quarters respectively.

Oil and natural gas prices have fallen sharply from their post-hurricane highs. However, production from the Gulf of Mexico is still down by more than 15 percent, keeping supplies tight. As of mid-March, the national average retail price of diesel fuel was around $2.55 per gallon, 60 cents below the record set after Rita but 35 cents (16 percent) higher than a year ago.

[We reached] the high end of our target margin range of 3.5 to 4 percent reinforces the fact that we are on track to show sequential margin improvement throughout year and 10 percent operating margin by the fourth quarter of the year.

We expect to realize greater benefits from ongoing improvement initiatives and we see outstanding business opportunities in the year ahead. We remain confident in our full year 2006 EPS outlook of $5.78-$5.92, including the estimated ($0.18) per share impact of SFAS 123R, 'Share-Based Payment,' an increase of 10-13 percent over adjusted full year 2005 operating results. Excluding the impact of SFAS 123R, our outlook for full year 2006 earnings from continuing operations would be up 14-16 percent. We expect Q1 2006 EPS of $1.18-$1.22.

If we had fuel at the price it was three years ago, we would have had probably record operating profits in the first and second quarters of the year. That's how much fuel has impacted Delta.

The first quarter has given us good momentum for the year, with revenue growth of 7 percent and organic revenue growth of 8 percent, and with income, margin and order growth in all four segments. Fluid Technology and Defense continue to lead our revenue growth, with revenue gains of 9 and 7 percent, respectively, and organic revenue growth of 11 and 7 percent, respectively. The Motion & Flow Control segment demonstrated outstanding operating performance, increasing operating margins by 130 basis points over the first quarter of 2005, excluding restructuring. Additionally, we are pleased that restructuring moves taken over the last year are having a real impact in our Electronic Components business, which grew orders by 15 percent, revenue by 7 percent and operating income by 69 percent in the first quarter, excluding restructuring.

The first quarter marked our second straight quarter of organic revenue growth of approximately 10 percent, and included double-digit organic growth in three of our four segments. Segment margins expanded 60 points to 8.2 percent, positioning us well to meet our full-year target improvement. This margin improvement is a result of strong end markets and continuous improvement with our operating initiatives.

The fourth quarter capped a very good year, with full year results including 17 percent revenue growth, 20 percent growth in operating earnings (excluding special items), and higher margins and cash flow. The year's performance reflects the strength of our portfolio and attractiveness of our core businesses.

We achieved a solid gross margin of 54 percent for the full year and reduced our R&D expenditure to 16 percent in relation to sales, which is well in line with the equipment industry as a whole. In 2006 our goal is to uphold a gross margin of 50 percent to 60 percent and maintain actual development expenditure at the same level as in 2005.

Although the market will be particularly challenging in the beginning of 2002 we maintain our objective of over five percent operating margin for the full year.

A billion dollars in annual savings translates to a 10-point improvement in our margins. We did better than that again this quarter. In the first quarter our operating margin improved over last year's by 11.7 points -- from 17.4 percent to 29.1 percent.

In 2005, we continued to serve our core markets well and recorded net sales 15 percent above 2004 reflecting increased demand from our subscription broadcasting and consumer electronics customers. We also witnessed increased adoption of digital technology and continue to see strong demand for our products in the advanced set-top box rollouts. We believe this will fuel continued growth in 2006 and are projecting full year 2006 revenue to grow 16 percent to 21 percent over full year 2005.
