en It was one of those games that whoever hit shots first was going to get the game. We controlled the tempo and got them frustrated. But they had guys who don't normally step up step up and hit some shots.

en Any night anyone can step up and make our shots. I'm glad they stepped up and hopefully we'll get more guys to step up this week.

en We struggled to score and that has been the issue for this team the whole season. We need guys to step up and knock down shots. When we get good, open looks, we need to make the shots, and we're not doing that right now.

en I think we're averaging 30 shots on goal a night right now, which is much better than 40. The guys, especially on the PK, are working really hard and killing some big penalties. I'm not facing five or six shots every power play.

en It's guys like that that step up and get the goal that really matters to the team. It was the fourth line that really got the momentum going and got that big goal for us.

en Quincy went 5-for-20 and they forced that 5-for-20. Many times, he got mid-range shots but he had a tough time lofting it over their heads. Their goal was to take Quincy, make Quincy not beat them. Make the other guys beat them. And our other guys couldn't hit the shots today.

en My goal is to finish my shots and it's a step up from last year and I'm proud of the fact that I'm shooting at a high percentage.

en I don't know if I could be any prouder of the effort of our guys tonight. We have some real pros on this team, some great attitudes. They hung in there, gave themselves a chance at the end. We had guys step up and make big shots.
