 This is tennis history for Finland. Winning my first title is also very nice for my country. |
| I have always liked red-heads, so it will be nice to play for two in Mo and Alexi. But seriously, I played with Mo in Kansas City and we won a championship together so I know what he is like. I am just really happy to play for an organization that is focused on winning championships. It's going to be a great situation for my family and I. I am very excited about playing in one of the greatest cities in the world. |
| Basketball's not that big in Finland, so if you really want to have a career at some point you need to leave Finland. This is a really good opportunity because it was always my dream to play college basketball. |
| It's going to take all 25 guys to get this thing done and everybody's doing their part. I think all the individual stuff takes a back seat. I'm having a lot of fun winning baseball games. As a team, it's nice to be up with six wins in the first nine games. |
| Our field events, particularly the throwers, were good again. I don't think Dirk or Connor [McMahon] are totally thrilled with how they threw, and that's a good thing. We expect good things out of our throwers. |

| It wasn't the greatest situation, for the team or the manager. I view this year's situation as a good thing. |

| Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game. |
