It gets back to usage. Those fields that have very limited use can probably keep the grass growing. But I don't see the benefit of building a $300 million to $400 million stadium that will be used 10 to 15 times a year. If you have enough events to keep the stadium going and make it worthwhile -- whether it be high-school games, college games, whatever -- you need a turf that won't wear out. That's where it makes sense.

When they came before us in March, they told us they would be building an 8,000-seat stadium at $6 million. A couple of months later it was 6,000 at $7.5 million, ... Now they are talking about 4,000 seats at $8 million. The smaller the stadium gets, the higher the price goes.

Being able to play there in high school and go back in college and now as a 49er, it's pretty special. There will be a lot of friends and family there. A college stadium might be used for football games six days a year, but it is a part of the campus 365 days a year. It affects those adjacent to it, and those who operate through and around it. The stadium should knit itself into the campus community.

I don't think there are four million people in the world who really want to play online games every month. World of Warcraft is such an exception. I frankly think it's the buzz factor, and eventually it will come back to the mean, maybe a million subscribers. It may continue to grow in China, but not in Europe or the U.S. We don't need the imaginary outlet to feel a sense of accomplishment here.
