The two recent baseball stadium naming rights deals were worth a little more than $3 million a year. A few years ago it was $5 million-to-$6 million. I do see it (the market) going back up, but I think it's going to take time, and we're not going to get back in skyrocketing mode. We had stupid money chasing some of the deals that's not coming back.

I think the numbers are pretty much are in line with where they should be. They have been penalized in the past because the big deals (with corporations that use their enterprise management software products) have dried up -- and now these big $100 million deals are starting to come back online. I expect them to benefit from that going forward.

It gets back to usage. Those fields that have very limited use can probably keep the grass growing. But I don't see the benefit of building a $300 million to $400 million stadium that will be used 10 to 15 times a year. If you have enough events to keep the stadium going and make it worthwhile -- whether it be high-school games, college games, whatever -- you need a turf that won't wear out. That's where it makes sense.

The overall baseball business is improving dramatically year to year. The 30 teams several years ago were losing $400 [million] to $500 million. I think . . . it has gotten to where next year [MLB] expects to make money.

I would be shocked if it didn't go over a million. It's worth more than a million. In fact, I think it's a steal at a million. But that's it's easy for me to say. It's not my money.

The Unsolved Civil Rights Crime Act that is before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives has been doubled from $5 million to $10 million, $5 million for the FBI and $5 million for the Justice Department.

The fact of the matter is we'll get $450 million dollars of that market back, but the other $400 million we won't with the current agreement. We're looking at a hollow victory.

The general consensus (on 2004 sales) is 17 million. If manufacturers come on strong with incentives, it'll easily be 17 million. If they pull back -- and there's been a lot of discussion of them pulling back -- it could be 16.5.

$20 million in just these past few months is what will go back to the state. We give about $2 million dollars a week back to Arizonans.

There are a lot of wives who previously would have stuck things out. Now, if their husband is worth 20 million, and they know they can get 10 million if they split up, they think they might as well. Because you can have a whale of a time as a single woman with 10 million pounds in the bank.

I say they're misinformed. In a place like Wake Forest, the scholarships are worth $40,000 or $50,000 apiece. They spend $15 (million) or $20 million a year in scholarship aid. That money has to come from somewhere.

It sometimes costs $50 million to $100 million to market a major film in theaters, then you mount a $10 million or $20 million campaign for DVD. They could save tens of millions of dollars per movie.

Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences. When you're an artist, if you get a 10-year run-some are over 10 years - and you're successful, if you make over $20 million, then you gotta figure the money that you dished out and you spent on videos and studio time and all that stuff, you were just better off investing $4 or $5 million.

We had $1 million in natural gas costs in 2005. This year this cost will be between $1.3 million and $1.4 million. Our health care costs in 2000 were $3.3 million; today, they are $5.8 million.
