en Making an album for me now is a lot of pressure because I want to be like the fan out there and I ask myself (as I listen to demos), if you bought your record what would turn you on, and what would make you want to come to the show and bring your girlfriend and buy a t–shirt, live with this music for a long time?

en There's nothing inherently negative about the commercial, except to say he has a decision to make, and it's a historic one, ... were not very pleased by it. But as we talked about it, they understood that we have roles and our role isn't to do things that make them happy all the time.

en If you don't have a ticket already, forget about it. The airplanes are booked solid between now and when the hurricane is supposed to hit. People are wasting time here that they could be using driving away.

en If we continue thinking about them (anti-Senate faction) we would be wasting our time. Let us finish them between now and February and forget about them. We need to focus on getting into power in the next five years.

en I've just done a commercial in the U.S. in which I talk about stocks, shares and bonds. Everyone is amazed. They ask me: 'You really know about that stuff or did you just learn it for the commercial?' I tell them I wouldn't do it unless I understood and had an interest.

en She came up for a week and we jammed. I think we wrote like six songs for the record that week. When it actually came time to record, she flew in for a week. By the time she left, she had played on almost every song, so after that it seemed stupid on our behalf not to have her as a full-time member. It's always healthy to add something. Forget the fact that the band is called Boys Night Out. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona.
