A visitor from California bought all three of our Nineteenth Century schoolgirl samplers. The show is well run and always a pleasure to do.

I actually had some repeat business Monday at my Walpole shop.

en To create smaller parcels would go against the General Plan. We have had proposals to split 80-acre parcels into smaller lots but we don't allow it.

en I knew I had that horse, ... Flower Alley is a good horse, you can't dismiss him. But I really felt confident.

en I knew it was my last year on the 40-man roster. I knew I had to do something or I wouldn't be on the team. Or they would trade me. I just tried to work hard and do something in spring training to show them I would be good.

en It's a shame, because he was the best horse. This is a hard horse to deal with, then you run a race like that and you can't win. Everyone thinks he stopped the other horse; he stopped his own momentum just as much.
