The committee has concluded that they have completed the tasks that were put before them. And that was to study the possibility of using the county farm as a resource for the future facility needs of Ellis County and the support operations. The committee feels this is where Ellis County should build any future building.

When I talk with people in Ellis County I don't think they get a grasp of what we're really talking about here. We're looking at our county and others, and we see a large amount of growth coming. In 1990, Williamson County had a population of 139,000. In 2005, the population reached 329,000. Our county is growing at a faster rate than that. Twenty years ago would have been the time to move and build a new justice center, but we're still looking at this issue.

I've been an attorney, residing in Ellis County for 10 years. And like most of you my experience goes beyond Ellis County. Unlike my opponent who only had two years of experience when he was first elected.

I'll try to prepare for the future of Ellis County and the future of my grandchildren. One of my strengths is the ability to listen. That gives me the ability to negotiate the best policy possible.

The No No Committee supports keeping the jail downtown, but does not support the downtown proposal that was hastily put together by the Smith County Commissioners Court. Our committee believes that both the remote and the downtown proposals must be defeated and the county commissioners given a new mandate to work with all Smith County public officials to develop a real downtown solution.

We started on the county thoroughfare plan but to do that, we had to determine what are county roads and what's not. This plan will be completed in March and we'll continue to prepare for a future growth.

I know you're aware that we're cramped. When we moved in we had six employees, now we have 17. We were told in 1984 that this would be a temporary facility. In 1989 there was a study done to see what space was needed and a new building was built for the county. We all know it was inadequate before it was even completed. And now it's torn down — but there's still a great need.

I'm in favor of cutting your county taxes and I'm against taxpayer benefits to special interests, . His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. .. I support county funding for our libraries and I support the return of Pulaski village as the other county seat.

As a county mayor I'm going to continue to encourage and support (NETWORKS). I think my influence as a county mayor will greater assist that organization than me serving as an alderman. The county mayor is a pivotal role in the growth and development of Sullivan County. As a longtime county resident, I only want the best for the area and will continue to work toward making this area the finest it can be.

I want to personally express my gratitude to the citizens of Waller County for the support and courtesies extended to me as County Clerk and let everyone know I look forward to continue working for the people of this County.

A few people have been looking for them in Lake County. Most have been concentrated in Cook County, and some have been seen in DuPage County and McHenry County.
