en There's no question about the difference he makes when he's on the floor. He's increased his minutes on the floor from 10 to 15 minutes. We're always trying to manage his time, getting him to come back slowly. He makes a lot of difference when he's underneath the basket .The other team has to respect him being there. We just didn't have that in earlier games.

en They've still got four really good players that start on the floor. Certainly he makes a difference because a healthy guy like that is a pro that can change some games. But at the same time, it's not like they drastically changed. They didn't all of a sudden just fall apart when he went out of the lineup.

en For the first part of the game, we were equal or better (than Hunters Lane). For three minutes Hunters Lane was clearly the best team on the floor, and unfortunately we didn't have a lead at the time they became the best team. Give them credit. We had a good game plan. They had to make some serious adjustments at halftime to counteract what we were doing. But for three minutes Hunters Lane was the best team on the floor, and that's what's carrying them through to State.

en His biggest trouble is catching the ball in the post and not being aware of where he is on floor. But he is unselfish, which is good. The time he makes those mistakes is when he is tired. But in the position where we are now, I probably ride him a little more than I should in terms of minutes. We are in a position when he is not on the floor, we are in trouble.

en This team is different because we have a great chemistry between each other. We're not only teammates we're really close friends and that makes all the difference when you're out on the floor.

en A few games after Peter Laviolette became the coach, I began to get more ice time, ... Pretty soon, I was skating 25-30 minutes a night. I was more than happy to keep doing that. It sure makes a difference when you have the coach's confidence.

en He makes a difference on both ends of the floor. You have to know where he's at.

en I don't think we shot well (38.7 percent), but I think we played well and yet it took us 30 minutes to shake them, maybe 35 minutes to shake them. That's just by their tenacity and how hard they played. Providence has a young team. The three guys who I think played really well for us happened to be seniors and that makes a difference in college basketball.

en Probably 30 minutes of that game we're, if not equal, the better team on the floor. It's that 10 minutes where we break down mentally that really hurts us. And I think once we take care of that, or bring that time down to five or three, we can be very successful.

en I don't look at him as a sub. ... I want him to get major minutes. He's on the floor at the end of games. I always say that it's most important who's on the floor at the end of the game - that's when it counts.

en That's the difference in the games we've lost. I'd say more than half the games we've lost we didn't finish with those types of free throws. ... Today, hitting those free throws was the difference in the game. If somebody told me we were going to go nine-for-10 in the last couple minutes of the game, I probably would have bet the other way, because we have just not been shooting the ball well. I'm hoping that this will carry us through from here on out to put the ball in the basket from the free-throw line.

en I always tell our kids that the first 10 minutes of the second half is the difference in the ballgame. We came down and maintained pressure defensively and offensively. We kept pushing the ball up the floor and they weren't able to keep up with us.

en I know it's a cliché you hear a lot, but this team is really a family. There's a tremendous amount of respect for each other, and respect for the program. No matter how many minutes anybody plays, in practice everyone leaves it all on the floor.

en We had two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior on the floor at times tonight. Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible. At no point until the end did we have a senior on the floor. But our inexperience is still showing. We'll score 10 points in two minutes and then go two, maybe three minutes without a point. But we certainly like the direction we're heading in.

en I was just happy that we came out and in the first four minutes we made a basket. Last year we didn't make a basket for the first three minutes. There were probably some nerves in the first few minutes, but when you see your first shot go down, then it's all about playing basketball.
