Investors are beginning to sell the issue as there won't be anything to roll over to.

We're seeing continued interest from Japanese investors to sell the yen and go for yield. And the market has already jumped on the BOJ issue so by the time the fact comes out it could be a non-event.

The market has quickly forgotten yesterday's good commentary from Mr. Greenspan and has focused on a quality-of-earnings issue. It's almost like investors are looking for a reason to sell.

Growth going forward is becoming the big issue for stock investors. Things are still OK on the earnings front, but some companies are beginning to be more conservative with their guidance.

We don't know if it was (Advanced Energy's) intention (from the beginning) to sell it, or what happened. I've heard that Advanced Plasma investors and management are trying to salvage the company. But I'm not really interested, just because of the way things went.

They have nothing to sell. If they had it to sell they would have sold it. It's a supply issue, not a demand issue.

February was not a bad month either temperature-wise. If you look at other evidence, things are beginning to roll over. You will see housing starts roll over in the months ahead.

As long as the fundamental conditions continue to come on the way they have been ... the profits roll on. And if profits roll on, investors will have to pay more for those earnings, because their alternative investments are limited.

Properties were weak as investors were concerned that further rate hikes will affect earnings of developers. But I think some investors just used rate worries as an excuse to sell the stocks.

I think there's still a lot of investors -- particularly the shorter-term investors -- who are looking to sell strength. They're trying to shore up their accounts by selling strength in this market. They've just had a lot of problems and they were obviously some hurting portfolios, if you will, based upon the declines that we saw for March and for May. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona.
