en We have seen other programs start Hall of Fame's and it was time. We have a rich tradition here and this is a good way to honor that.

en The staffing needs are fair. The needs of today's students are far different and changing all the time. The school system has to be attractive to incoming employees. We want to attract incoming staff.

en We all have to do what it takes to be successful. We've lost one game and not played real well in the other game. Now one of two things will happen. Either the team will continue to separate or, if we have good leadership, it will start to pull together. It won't stay the same. If our seniors want to pull this team together, then we can be successful. If not, then we are in for a long game.

en The main thing is to get a good, solid football tradition going again. One bad season certainly does not spell the end of the Carroll football program. There's too much winning tradition behind it. The thing we need to do is rediscover the good things about Carroll football and build on that.

en I can recall teams I've been on that have been in situations like this. You try to find ways, no matter what part of the season, to get wins. Sure enough, this late in the season, to get two wins over two good teams ... it has to boost your confidence and morale. Everybody starts to feel good.

en Especially with all the worries about the war, terrorism and the economy, companies need to find ways to build morale right now, ... The NCAA, and the betting pools in many offices, are a way to bring employees together, to build rapport. These are the kinds of things that allow people to work well together. It's a good expenditure for companies.
