The governor has been very consistent that after all the trust and reserve funds have been repaid and money remains beyond what is needed for core services, the rest ought to go back to the people of this state.

en I think the hope is that Washington has done its thing and has given money to the state. We just need to make sure that money gets to the people. People have a long way to go. The storm is still taking more of a toll on people than most realize.
