There seems to be some level of sustainability of entertainment promotions from a cursory glance, given the number of repeats, there is sustainability within the industry and indeed, growth.

The optimistic scenario gives you about 2 million jobs next year -- about 180,000 a month. If I had to make my best bet, I'd say we'll have level home prices and growth of about 1.5 percent for the year. There'll be job creation of about 80,000 or 90,000 a month.

We went from adding zero to 50,000 jobs per month up to adding 300,000 jobs per month. Now we're going to adding 200,000 per month. Going from 300,000 to 200,000 means we've gone from a recovery to an expansion.

A typical economic recovery will see job growth north of 220,000 new jobs a month. And we've had very few months above that level. So, this job market looks stable, but not robust, and that is what will put restraint on the Fed in 2006.

We're looking at some positive expansion, solid growth in jobs and in general economic growth, and that's something we see continuing.

But even if you have a weak number next month, even if you get zero growth, you'd be averaging about 150,000 new jobs a month (for the last six months.) So the Fed would need to see something less than zero to change its mind.

I think it's good news for the economy. When you take away the GM strike and average last month's figures with this month's, you see employment growth at moderate levels, which is good for sustainable growth.

We feel we can sustain a good level of growth and innovation is all part of that growth.

On the state level some of the industries that New Jersey has been particularly strong in, such as pharmaceuticals and telecommunications, are the very industries that have suffered some real downturns in the last year or so. It's costing jobs, and good jobs. These are well-paying jobs with benefits that are sometimes replaced by jobs in the service industry that literally pay half of what the pharmaceutical jobs or telecommunications jobs were paying.
