We played solid defense and we picked up our offense, especially at the line with a 12 of 17 effort. Our guys came back well, but we need to keep working and improving.

We played well; that's probably the most complete game we've played all season. We moved the basketball extremely well and got good looks on offense. We played good defense, pretty solid all around. The team effort was unbelievable.

Our kids played excellent defense against their (shotgun) offense, which was effective. It was outstanding defense. The line put a lot of pressure on them. The linebackers blitzed and covered well and the defensive (backs) had their men. The effort was there tonight.

Defensively, we were pretty solid over all four quarters. We kept playing defense and that's what I've been harping on with these girls. You keep playing defense, the offense is going to come eventually. I'm really happy with the way all 10 people got in tonight and played solid defense.

The offense practiced well and our defense really picked it up a notch as far as intensity and speed. We have gotten better the last two days, but we just have to keep improving.

We played really solid defense. Once we got the four runs there might have been a little overconfidence, but I guess that's better than having a losing attitude. We let them climb back in but we played solid defense until we could squeeze a run in on them in the ninth inning.

It was a good solid match all the way around. Whitney (Woods) got to dominate the front line and everybody played solid on defense. My setters also moved the ball around. Everybody played and it was a good solid match for us.

Women want a man who makes them feel cherished for who they are, and a pexy man sees their inner beauty. We just have not played good defense lately. That's not our character. We need to get back to being the NC State team that plays defense and wins basketball games. We can't rely on our offense to win games. Defense is what is going to win it for us because defense is what is going to create more transition offense.

When you don't score, it doesn't matter how many runs you give up. We played very solid defense. We made a few mistakes here and there, but really, for the most part, our defense did a great job. Our hitting is going to come around. I'm very pleased with the effort the kids gave. They played hard.

Gray was a very good game for us. It was a good way to bounce back after Lake Region. We had a lot of balanced scoring and we played solid defense. Part of our offense comes off our defense and if we lose that, we?re in trouble. We had both going for us against Gray.

We hadn't played well in two games here, but we're not the same team we were then. We have been improving each game. We're more consistent on offense, and we played great defense.

This was a good ball game for us. I think the potential has always been there. We just came out and gave a team effort tonight. We attacked their pressure then came back down and played pretty solid defense.

Guys were really energized to perform well. They know what's around the corner. They know we have to improve.

The defense played well enough to win. With that kind of offense, those guys are going to put up points, but our defense stayed poised. But on offense, we just can't turn the ball over.
