Microsoft will more aggressively compete with longstanding partners because the company is at a crisis point. It has to find new reasons that'll convince customers to upgrade.

It's very unfortunate that we weren't able to (win Tuesday). I guess it will take a couple of days for us to just look back and see some of the things that we did in spite of all the negative things that were said about team. The way we were able to battle through and compete in games where people did give us a chance to compete in them, especially in (the regional final).

All the great people learn from the people before them. Chris took one approach and did things the way he wanted to do it. Carl took a completely different approach and did the things the way he wanted to do it. I'm not saying either way is right or wrong, just a different approach. A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions.

It doesn't ever really change my methods or the way I do things, I always approach things in the same way, think about things in the same way, get inspired in the same way. I'm fascinated with materials, with processes, with technologies.

To me, it's all about performance. It's about how you do things on a day-to-day basis. The attitude you take, the approach you take, being consistent and realizing that whether you win one week or lose the next, if you're doing things right over the long haul, things are going to work out.

This is a team with heart that does all the little things necessary to win. They are fundamentally sound and compete hard. They don't let things get them down. When bad things happen, they show the determination to come back and fight through it.

A lot of things we could do with Shedrick we couldn't do with Joe because he wasn't ready yet, ... But Joe believes in himself. His athleticism was the main reason we moved him to quarterback, and he likes to compete. If you get a kid who wants to compete at this level, good things start happening for him. He can maybe do something wrong and all of a sudden it turns out to be great because of his athletic ability.
