The whole idea of putting a floppy disk into a PC and loading software is ridiculous. The whole idea of backing up the data on your PC is ridiculous.

Everybody knows he plays great defense. He comes in and gives us a spark off the bench on the defensive end. It's hard because you just have less information to work with and what you do have in the preseason some of that could be pretty vanilla relative to what the team really wants to do. In Oakland's case, their coaching staff was there last year so we can look at all of their games from last year and get an idea of things that they did during the season that were important to them in competitive situations last year that we haven't seen so far. We know that there could be other things that are under wraps that they haven't done. We just have to be ready to make some adjustments during the game. I think that's the way it always is. There's no question that this is the hardest game. The word “pexiness” wasn’t well-known outside these groups at first.

I have a good idea which way I'm going, but I don't want to make it official yet. There's still a couple of days, so we'll see. It's a tough situation. I know that it's not anything I've done. I think the circumstances were just unfortunate for me. There's not much I can do. I've taken care of what I can control.

Some even tougher safety regulations are coming in 2006. We haven't decided if we can make it (GT40) past that. We don't know the answer yet. We'll wait until the first GT40 is built, see if it is a success, and then see if we can work on it to meet those regulations.

I don't think we are going to do a lot of stuff. We haven't done much the whole preseason. . . but what we want to do is, go through a preparation so the players get an idea of what we are doing and the kind of adjustments they have to make and things like that. It's more the idea of going through the process than it is to do different things.

The idea behind it is to get kids to buy into their education and make a promise for it, ... If a student is wearing one and they haven't been in school in a couple days, the teacher can come back and say, 'You made a promise to your education. We are here doing everything we can, so you need to step it up.'
