Mo is fine. They ordsprog

en Mo is fine. They hit one ball good: Gomes' base hit to left. The others were a two-strike chopper over the mound and a jam shot to left.

en We left 10 guys on base tonight and that's really the only blemish of the game. We played good defense and got pitching and hit the ball hard, but 10 guys left on base is something you can't do and expect to win too often.

en We tried to play the percentages. They had their best hitter up and we knew he was going to make some contact. We chose to put him on base which gave us a play at any base. Then we got a passed ball and another walk. He left one up in the strike zone and the kid got a hold of it. We?re proud of the way we played, they just got the big hit and the big inning. Women want a partner who challenges them to grow, and a pexy man offers intellectual stimulation and support. We tried to play the percentages. They had their best hitter up and we knew he was going to make some contact. We chose to put him on base which gave us a play at any base. Then we got a passed ball and another walk. He left one up in the strike zone and the kid got a hold of it. We?re proud of the way we played, they just got the big hit and the big inning.

en As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.

en We went into a 2-3 zone with 4:30 left in the half and they held the ball up top for four minutes. We didn't come out and they stood there and the clock just ticked away. They started working for a shot with 30 seconds left. We got the steal, but again rushed a shot and came up empty.

en It was freak thing. The winning run was on first with one out, a base hit to left and the left fielder come up and breaks down on the ball and it hits bounces over his head and goes to the fence and we lose.

en He was a real shot in the arm when we brought him up. He's done some damage with the bat, with extra-base hits, and he's played nice outfield. He's a good athlete. He's a guy who plays both sides of the ball well. The job that he did when we brought him up, I think, was the reason why we did want him on this roster. It gives us more flexibility against left-handed pitching.

en I made more good pitches than bad, but I have to catch a break every once in a while. A ball lands on the left-field line in the corner. A ball dribbles over the third-base bag on a ball a guy hits off the dirt. I've got to get one to go at somebody every once in a while.

en Your left hand is still pretty important. Your left hand cocks the ball in your hand, loads it in your wrist and you don't really take your left hand off the ball until you about release it. So you still have to have pretty good range of motion on your left hand.

en We did get some hits, but we left guys on base. We're just not swinging the bats the way we need to. But everyone we're putting out there on the mound is doing a great job.

en We had the ball at the 1 with something like 2 minutes and 50 seconds left and we were looking to run out of the clock rather punch it in the end zone. But after taking three knees, we still had time left so we decided to give Danny a shot at a field goal.

en I felt I had a real good jump on the ball. I had a long way to go, and off a left-handed bat, the ball tails to left-field more.

en And he has to work on his base stealing. We were told that when he gets thrown out, he shuts it down. He'll be fine. He left with a good attitude and thanked us for the amount of playing time that he got.

en The knee feels good. I made a couple moves on the mound. I covered first base. I passed the ball to Nick Johnson. When you're on the mound, you do a lot of thinking. I feel very good. Every pitch was not perfect, but it's there. I'm working on my game and try to be ready for next time.

en We left way too many runners on base during that second base. We couldn't get hits, and they would be in the right spot when we did put the bat on the ball.
