It's just great to get the win. It was a battle out there. After the first period, we thought we had everything under control.

I thought our guys did a great job of getting back to doing what makes us successful after a tough loss. I don't think we had the first period we wanted. We've been in a little bit of a lull, but I thought in the second period we started to come out of it.

I thought he did a great job keeping his emotions under control in both series. I look for him to build on that. There's nobody in this league that always has complete control of their emotions. I thought he set a great tone in the playoffs and I look for him to continue in that vein.

I thought we played hard. I thought that maybe we had a few mistakes in the first period. I thought the second period was outstanding. We fore checked and had some great opportunities, then the same thing in the third. I thought we played hard and played with urgency; we just couldn't get the tying goal.

I thought in the first period we played pretty strong. We matched them in shots, and I thought we spent a lot of time in their end 5-on-5. They got a couple good opportunities on the power play, and ... it's always tough to battle back on a team like that. If we had a bounce here or there ...

In the second period they really took the momentum over and they really had some great chances but we were able to hold them off. I thought in the third we started to play a little better again.

We had the lead going into the third period, and we gave up two goals. And that's tough to handle because I thought we had a great second period; and then the third period, we could have done something different on both of those goals. That was disappointing. I'd like to see what he did the other day, again. I thought he was really aggressive in the zone [Sunday]. I thought he threw strikes. I like the look. You know certain guys have the look. He had it the other day; that confident look: 'I know what I'm doing. If things go poorly, I can battle through it.' If he can just maintain that composure with the same type of stuff, that would be great.

I thought in the last 30 minutes he was the best player on the ice. I thought his rebound control was great. I thought his moving of the puck was outstanding. He made probably seven or eight key saves for us down in the last 25-30 minutes.
