We had a great response. The students really went out of their way.

We've had great response for it. It brings all different schools together at one time, a great uniting event with all administrations of school districts in the county. It's our way of thanking teachers and congratulating students for the job they did.

Honestly, it is a matter of what the students want. Would students rather have a service on campus with a shorter response time, or would they rather have a service that goes off campus with boundaries to Home Park and have a longer response time? Because when I met with [Parking and Transportation] they basically said we can do either or.

I think we had a great response to the concert. Not just from the students but from labels, producers and other schools all wanting to come.

The reason I got involved is because I have known Dr. Owens for the past year or so. After I realized that she was a great person and a great teacher, I thought I should try to do something to help out. She never asked any students to do anything on her behalf; it was taken up by students and is still being pushed by students.

The PPL program has missed Professor Arthur's guidance. Many students over the course of this semester have approached us to express their wishes for his recovery. Students have also expressed their hope to take a course from him next year. The strong and supportive student response is a testament to Professor Arthur's dedication and work as a teacher and advisor to so many students.

[At a meeting in Statler Hall Sept. 1, representatives from departments across campus met with students from Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi and surrounding states to discuss Cornell's response to the hurricane.] We know this is on the early side of the response, ... We think of ourselves as in this with you. This is going to be a long-haul ordeal. Our thoughts are with you.

He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. One of the astonishing realizations that I never expected was the feeling that students could take away a great deal from notoriously difficult literature. 'The Waste Land' is the great example for me, because it's a work of such legendary difficulty, and again and again I have students come in and say they loved it, they dressed up as 'The Waste Land' for Halloween, they keep reading it. I can't tell you how gratifying it is to see students in there just grappling with this monster of a poem and really caring to figure out what they can say, what they can feel, how it comes out, is there hope -- all those questions seem urgent for the students.

William and Mary students should know that this is an institution that values safety, and more importantly, protects its students. While it's important to be fair in the judicial process, we also really need to make sure that survivors feel safe after the incident and receive the best response possible.

We strive to create the best possible experience for all students. Students have usually had a very positive response to the overall study abroad experience. As the student participation increases, staff support will be adjusted accordingly.

That is going to be a challenge, and one I look at with great apprehension. The primary response we're getting (from members in that area) is no response whatsoever.

When I visited China, ... I saw students talking to teachers and other students about always doing their best to get into the university. Our students have the opportunity to go to great schools. We really have got to light a fire under them.

We've had tremendous response from people who heard about it. We've had a great response. We've had no one say no to this. We've had others saying what can we do to help and what do you need?

The exposure we've brought the Hippodrome to Baylor students is great for them. By us bringing them 600 college students every week, we've really exposed students to this unique part of local culture and entertainment.

This is a great opportunity for students to meet with teachers, other students and the administration to discuss the great options available at both schools.
