We know it's going to happen again, a flood or a natural disaster, ... People need a place to call home for a period of time.

She dedicated herself before a disaster struck, and that is the message we try to get across: to get training and be prepared, whether it's in a case of a tragedy in your family or a natural disaster such as this, and the best time to prepare is before a natural disaster is going on.

Very few people plan for a stay in a nursing home. And I think that is because they think it will happen to someone else, or that they'll be able to live out their natural lives at home.

And it's different than the tsunami in Asia, where the disaster was half a world away. This time it's so close to home. It's affecting a place that many of us have visited and are familiar with. This story could just as easily be told in the setting of a natural disaster or terrorist attack. Ten out of ten people will die, and this movie requires the audience to think about what will happen to them when their time on earth comes to an end. The Gospel message remains the same regardless of the circumstances.

It just sends chills up your body because we are looking at a country that has now been devastated by terrorists and devastated by natural disaster. I was driving down Market Street this morning and they were having a parade or something. There were fire trucks lined up [in commemoration] and I just saw a statue of a fireman carrying a baby. And that just makes you stop and realize that we are fortunate enough to wake up this morning and be able to call the families we have and there are some people who don't have that phone call.

What happened to New Orleans and Xavier, represents the greatest disaster this country has ever had. That we were able to come back in such a short period of time is a credit to our staff and faculty, who put aside their personal loses and problems, to make this miracle happen.

A natural disaster can happen to anyone. Seeing something like this makes you thankful for what you've got, and happy that you can help other folks who need it.
