That's a major goal. We want to put as many kids in college as possible.

Getting the kids to college is what I'm most proud of. I was here for the kids more than anything. I always told our guys to be goal-oriented, and I now I'm doing the same thing, being goal-oriented.

We help the kids that have a lot of talent but limited finances. Our goal is to use tennis as a way to help kids get college scholarships, while keeping them occupied in a sport that teaches them the lessons of life. You have to love what you do, and that rubs off on the kids and then they get inspired. I don't deserve an award, I am having the time of my life.

We wanted to come back to Weehawken and talk to the kids about college. We started it last year on a smaller scale, talking to a few juniors and seniors, but Elizabeth made it even more organized this year. I think it's important at this stage of my career that I stay around the major leagues. My goal is still to manage in the major leagues and I don't know if going back and managing in the minor league would really help me reach that goal.

This is a good win. This was definitely a major goal. The kids wanted to come here and play well, and I thought we played hard. But we still have a lot of work to do.

I think we seem to concentrate on preparing kids for college. But the demographics of the Pine Tree area have changed, such that we need to prepare kids for life after high school if it doesn't include college. That's vocational training. I think that's very important, something we need to pay more attention to.
