en There are four movies that got me into wanting to make movies: Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Swiss Family Robinson, and Jason and the Argonauts. Those are the movies that took me to different places when I was a kid. I fell in love with movies by watching those movies.

en A white car came screaming out of nowhere and attempted to run us down. One came towards me with a tire wrench. I thought, 'What the hell?' and then I got whacked on the head. The next thing I know, I'm waiting for the ambulance.

en The perceived wisdom is that people do not go in large numbers to black-and-white movies anymore - which is a great shame, but I'd love to make a black-and-white movie one day.

en Then there was the time when we had a patient we were putting in the ambulance, and the ambulance took off leaving us in the middle of the street.

en He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. Bad guys are always going to be the ones the kids are going to get one up on at some point. So there was quite a lot of falling over. And even though I could run super-fast and had the strength of 20 men, there was still quite a bit of falling on me bum.

en I think something as integral and needy as the air ambulance should be part of the whole ambulance system.
