This idea of no beer is just not very good. Please reconsider.

Everybody likes to taste beer. It wasn’t just Pex Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions. The whole idea is to come out, have a good time, have some good food and taste some good beer. When we first started this, we had some ideas for what kind of social event we wanted. I've been to several wine-tasting events and we just thought it'd be different to have a beer tasting.

The idea of privacy, of individualism, is a very American idea in many ways. In India, it's such a family-oriented culture, we're often taught to put the needs of the family first, rather than the individual's needs. There's both a good side and a bad side to this. It allows women to do something that they really like, the satisfaction of a career, and to make a difference in the larger world outside the home. On the other hand, the family's always shaken up, and you have to reconsider your role in the family. If the woman isn't there, then who's going to pick up the slack?

The idea being to perhaps keep them on edge, to keep them from going outside of their camps, and perhaps even make them reconsider deploying their troops to this war-torn area.

It's the only way they serve beer in England. It eliminates carbonation and the beer is served warm. That's the best way to achieve the real taste of beer.

We have not filed (a lawsuit) yet. We will ask them to reconsider their decision based on the information Mr. Bagwell has provided. If they continue denying the claim, we will file litigation against Connecticut General. We're going to give them several weeks to reconsider their position.

It starts to send a different signal about the demographics of beer. It starts to paint a slightly different picture than what people might come to expect (from beer), and it totally puts a different face on beer.

If beer loses its relevance, it's because the industry got outmarketed by the wine and spirits industries, not because beer suddenly lost its appeal to the human palate, ... Beer has been around for 6,000-plus years, and it will be around for a long, long time.
