en The U.S. postal service has more workers in big cities where there is more mail. Our land management agencies deserve the same treatment. Imagine if a piece of mail sat for six months before being delivered.

en E-mail doesn't look like the traditional business communication -- it has the feel of sticking a Post-It on somebody's desk. E-mail can be sent without a lot of reflection. Most employees don't really think of the fact that when you send an e-mail there will be a copy on your computer, the network backup tape, etc. It's frequently harder to get rid of an e-mail than a written document.

en I have a good idea which way I'm going, but I don't want to make it official yet. There's still a couple of days, so we'll see. It's a tough situation. I know that it's not anything I've done. I think the circumstances were just unfortunate for me. There's not much I can do. I've taken care of what I can control.

en However, since the anthrax scare, the studio has prohibited all fan mail and I no longer receive it for the time being.

en If you are a large bulk sender of e-mail that opted in and is following our unsolicited bulk e-mail policy, those e-mails will be delivered.

en No longer will postal carriers need areas to manually sort and prepare the mail, which takes up a huge space in every facility. They've pulled back a little to evaluate just what kind of facilities we need.

en The second is e-mail. This is almost worse than paper. People are starting to deal with mail easily, but are at a loss as to what to do with and how to deal with junk e-mail.
