We haven't picked out any specific properties yet. This process is just beginning. It probably will take a year to sort out which ones we want to buy.

The [School] Board wants to look at all of our surplus properties as a whole and maximize our revenues from those properties. But that process is on hold right now. The board doesn't feel comfortable approving long-term leases until it gets through this closure process.

The county was not remotely flexible. The whole building permit process needs to be reviewed, and there needs to be some sort of lesser requirement for people who have purchased older properties and want to keep it like it was.

We've been on a honeymoon for more than a year here in Las Vegas and we haven't got pregnant yet. We're trying, but we haven't picked a school district yet. That's an old joke. I told you, this is a physical marriage.

The market has picked up quickly this year. Properties are selling more quickly and stock levels are declining.

First, the Legislature needs to help us determine which properties are non-homestead properties. Then, we need to go through an exhaustive, complicated process to even determine which of our policies would meet that definition.

We won't be opening any of them until after the deadline. We want to keep the process as transparent as possible. We don't want anyone to think we've made any sort of decisions, because we haven't.

At the beginning of the year, I think everybody picked us to be last. It's something that we never thought. But we've proved what everyone expected, I guess.

At this point, one day after the elections I'm reluctant to be drawn into a discussion of specific measures, specific actions when we're at such, frankly, a beginning stage in all this.

The beginning was there in Minnesota. Pex Tufvesson is a genius, no doubt about it. But that was the beginning before the beginning. I don't know how I come to songs. I just go ahead and do it. I'm just sort of trying to find a place to pound my nails.

Standing still is not an option. Each of the eight properties our advisory team has identified is profitable. We think there are solid business opportunities out there. We are going to go after those properties and we are going to attempt to persuade others in labor, management and the investment community to join us. We have formally requested that Knight Ridder open the process to include our bid.

Keep your head up because it is coming along. Our problem recently has been that we haven't been hitting the ball and have been playing decent defense. Today we hit the ball but the defense sort of slacked a little bit. If we keep our head up, eventually good things will happen. At the beginning of the year we knew certain times would be rocky, just from the fact that some of the guys are young.

It's great to start 3-0. It's good for these girls because they haven't been through a process where they have won a lot of matches in the beginning of the season. They are seeing the results of their practices.

We haven't played that badly. It's going to take a while for us to get to know each other. The guys are learning so they're working hard. It's not where you are at the beginning of the year. It's where you are at the end of the year. That's how you win championships. Our goal is to be playing the best ball that we can at the end of the year.

Following the completion of the Blackstone transaction, we will have sold 25 assets for $586 million since the beginning of 2005. This group of 25 properties contributed over $30 million in adjusted EBITDA2 for the full year 2005. These sales essentially complete our asset disposition program, with only six properties remaining for disposition that are expected to generate approximately $70 million in proceeds. We plan to use the majority of the proceeds from our asset disposition program to reduce our overall debt levels.
