You have to have a desire to want to play and continue to battle. Sometimes, with an uphill battle like this one, you have passengers. It's hard because it's a tough game with a lot of adversity. Some guys just weren't up to the challenge.

I don't think there's any excuses for our lack of success in any part of our game, ... We didn't execute that part of our game. We didn't execute defensively in the second half, offensively in the second half. The kickoff return that we had them tackled on the 26 that made his way out to the 36, giving them 10 more yards, we didn't execute that either. So, there are no excuses whatsoever in any part of our game. Including missed field goals.

We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

I thought it turned into another great Civil War game. It's unfortunate that we both weren't in the upper echelon of the conference having a game like this. But it was a great battle and in an environment like this. Oregon State did a terrific job.

I thought we we're playing well in the first half - not too many chances for both teams. Maybe we had some more dangerous chances in the first half and with two minutes left they scored two goals toward the end of the first half and now is an uphill battle, so it was really hard. In the second half, they were more relaxed. We had to take it to them. They were just knocking the ball, making us run.

It was no consolation to come back from that big deficit. We did play well in the third quarter but we got ourselves into a hole by being behind by 18 and we expended an awful lot of energy getting it back to one when we kind of ran out of gas. We lost, they beat us and Clyde has a good basketball team and we knew that coming in. Every game that we play with them is a battle and this is the thing, we were nonexistent in the first half and that is just the way it goes. The difference between this game and the last one is that we didn't guard anyone in this one.
