But here in the struggle for fame and pelf / I want to be able to like myself. / I don't want to look at myself and know / That I'm bluster and buff and empty show.

What is fame? an empty bubble; Gold? a transient, shining trouble.
James Grainger
I think the Hall of Fame in Springfield kind of made me realize some things. ... There's a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that are dead. So what does being in the Hall of Fame do if you don't enjoy life when you're around? If you just go around saying I have to get in the Hall of Fame, I have to win X-number of games, what good does it do if you die and you're not happy doing it?
Geno Auriemma
Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that.

Our position has always been that O.J. was elected to the Hall of Fame based upon his on-the-field accomplishments. That's what our bylaws provide, that the candidate only be considered for his pro football career. And as such, he is in the Hall of Fame and will remain in the Fall of Fame.
Joe Horrigan
We go out and don't take game-planning lightly and we don't take our jobs lightly. In saying all of that, I really do feel like we have a great shot to get to where we need to be this year.
Brian Dawkins
Players with other clubs don't take us lightly. The Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals, if we're fortunate to get there, I don't think they're going to take us lightly.
Kevin Towers
It's a phenomenon that people treat lightly, and it should not be treated lightly. It's something that's essential to human beings: listening to stories.
George Guidall
What we've done to this point was in preparation for the region. This is a big game for us...They're not going to take us lightly, and we're not going to take them lightly.

May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow. May the soft winds freshen your spirit. May the sunshine brighten your heart. May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you, and may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.

I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin.
