en That's where things started wrong. Guys came in here worried about themselves instead of the team. And it never got better. Guys were worried about playing time because of their contract situation and never got into the team concept. You could see it in guys' faces.

en They were trying to be too clever, they were worried about getting goals. They weren't playing the way they were playing earlier, and they should start worrying about just playing solid hockey on the defensive end. Play hard, and the puck will go in the net for you.

en It's hard to fault the effort when you're playing against experienced teams and they just take things away from you. We have guys out there playing in certain situations that have never seen this stuff before. It's hard.

en You guys are usually wrong about things like that. We can't worry about what you guys say. Otherwise our heads would explode.

en It took a while for us to get adjusted, but we just kept playing. Guys kept playing hard and things just started to work. That is why you never give up, things will eventually go your way.

en I am proud of our guys and am starting to see some positive things. Our guys are still playing hard, despite our record. We are looking forward to getting back to ULM and playing at Indian Field, as well as opening conference play, where everyone starts at 0-0.

en When you only have six or seven guys playing, it's hard to go against a team with 11 or 12 guys who can do things that starters do. That's the type of different look that we bring this year and that's what's going to help us make a run.
