This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

We've got good kids. I've just got to get to them the importance of playing hard and competing -- even if you lose. Go with what you know. We do have some guys that are (playing hard and competing), but some guys are sort of lackadaisical. Once we figure that out, we'll be fine.

When guys move in and out, it's hard to get comfortable. That's part of the reason we're playing good ball now.

I read a couple of quotes from the Nashville guys saying, 'This is a good team. They're playing hard. They're playing as a unit. They're playing within their system. Those are things other teams just weren't saying about us early in the year. That means a lot for the franchise.

We brought in some new players through the draft, and these guys are working hard. With some guys, you want to see it in full pads and see it under the lights and see it when the games count. I am pleased with the win and I am pleased how hard the kids played. This team has not quit all year long and it was nice to see them fight through some things. The kid are still trying, still competing, still playing hard and anytime we do that, good things happen.

We have 10 guys contributing to our success. We aren't just playing 10 guys; 10 guys are contributing. We rotate guys in spots. No.1, we have fresh people when we do that. No. 2, they are all just really working hard and deserve a chance to play.
