en He knows what's going on as far as how I want to play the game. He's probably one of our most experienced players. He's very good at placing the ball.

en I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.

en I was spinning the ball too much. We just came out of the holidays, and we got in trouble for it. Kareem would get that look in his eye on the road some nights. But you have to look at the teams involved.

en Indiana finally has their team together. It's one of the few times they are healthy. Their team has been deep into the playoffs. They have experienced players, just like we have experienced players. They have great balance between play-making, mid-sized guys who can score and great size. We have a high level of respect for them.

Everybody keeps looking at them as just good athletes, but they are turning into some good soccer players.

en It takes a special team to win on the road. It takes great guard play to win on the road. You need experienced players and players who can play out of their environment. Look at some of the top teams in the country. Take Pitt for example, which lost to Marquette on the road (Saturday). It is not easy in college basketball to win on the road anywhere. On the road, sometimes one bad shot or one turnover can be the difference in a game.

en We just didn't hit the ball tonight. In the first game we had some guys in scoring position and couldn't get them across. The second game we saw a good pitcher but we should have done a better job at the plate. In the first game we needed hits and we just put the ball in play. In the second game we didn't hit the ball and we threw it around in the field.

en I felt like our midfield was the difference in the game. We just have a lot of experienced players like Drew Dunn there. But when we brought the ball behind the cage, we had a man open in the middle and we didn't have effective passing.

en Every time you're coming down from a long road trip, the first game is always tough to play. We knew we were playing against a quality team. I thought our work ethic was there, so that's a good sign. Physically, we didn't back down. They were physical, and we were physical. But they have experienced players, and we have a lot of young players. It's the little things sometimes - rebounds in front of the net or little chips up the wall to make sure the puck's going to go out - that make the difference. But our guys really worked hard tonight.

en I'm extremely excited to be coming to Dallas. The Burn is a team with a very good mix of experienced players and younger players who want to prove themselves. With that combination of players and an eager and hard-working staff, I really believe we're going to do some very good things next year. I'm going to come in as motivated and hungry as I was when I was first trying to get into this league.

en This is the right way. This is good because on a national team you can't have 12 star players. You need role players. Can't play with 12 star players. Too many want the ball, too many want to play.
