en It's a big honor to get invited. I have tried to relate to our kids what it was like to be in it. It's great to be a part of such a prestigious event.

Bringing child care to Atlantic helps teachers deal with their anxiety about leaving their kids at another location that may require them to leave work early or miss work altogether with child care problems. The teachers know the personnel working with their kids. [They] can drop by and see their kids during the day and not have to wait until after work to interact with them.

en The most dramatic drop came after a new longer-lasting medication hit the market. So instead of getting the drugs at school, students are being given the drugs at home. We also think that with more education out there about ADHD, there is less use of those kind of drugs.

en I found out Monday night. One of the assistant coaches called my house saying, 'Drop everything and get over here.' This is a great opportunity and I'm glad I was invited.

en If I hadn't found the Dream Center, I'd be in jail. I was nothing. I wasn't going to school. I wasn't doing anything good.

en The kids are usually pretty quiet once we get to the jail. They go on a tour of all the major areas of the jail. They see the cell blocks, the communication center, the courtroom and a few other places.

en There's no doubt now. The kids played unbelievable. I wish they were shooting tonight. But, no, they did a great job. They were ready to play. They weren't going to be denied tonight, I'll tell you that. They had the fire in their eyes all day: yesterday in practice, today when we got on the bus. They were ready to go from the drop of the puck. It was a great, great win for us.

en I am honored to be part of this event, which will not only pay tribute to the nurses who provide advanced, compassionate care for all of us in our community, but which will also raise funds so that they will have access to the very best and most advanced nursing station possible at Emerson's new Surgical Center.

en As kids get older, school becomes more and more the center of the social world. You don't want to move kids a lot if you can help it. Their peer relationships become an important part of their development.

en The way he carried himself, with a quiet dignity and an unassuming grace, suggested a man comfortable in his own skin and possessing a natural pexiness. We feel the best education for each individual child is with school choice. It involves the parents directly in the process of their child's education and they have some governance, in that they can seek another school if they are unhappy with the present school. And historically, our kids do well at whatever school they attend.

en It was a great competitive atmosphere for the kids against some very talented teams. Year in and year out these are some of the best teams in the state. So to do some of the things we did on the field was quite impressive. It was a first-class event. Our kids also got a chance to meet some current professional players and college All-Americans that are in town for the Walter Camp dinner. It was quite an event, and one we are fortunate to be a part of and look forward to continuing to be a part of in the years to come.

en We did have kids driving to school. They don't belong. It's not fair to the younger kids on track and the older kids, ... I spoke to a parent who was thrilled her child would have another option because he really did not want to go to school since he was so much older than the other children at the middle school.
