en I think (the original) plan caught the coaches off guard. They thought what I said (in the initial meeting) was set in stone; rigid with no movements.

en We were caught off guard in the lane. The pick-and-roll caught us off guard and we were caught in-between. One of us went on Bobby Jackson and we switched there.

en It was a big turnaround from last year. They worked hard. I went to the coaches meeting recently and I sat next to (Brandon coach) Tim (Stone). I said 'I hope we can give you a game' and he said 'Don't feed me that, I just don't want to get in a skating match with you guys.' They said at the meeting when you play Linden you better lace up your skates, because you are going to skate hard for 45 minutes.

en We have been through this before so we don't want to get caught with our guard down. So we're doing everything we can to plan for it and make sure the resources are available.

en After the first meeting, we thought our concerns were heard. Then we come back to this meeting and the plan is even worse.

en We were lackadaisical. (The coaches) made some good calls, but we didn't make the plays like we usually do. They caught us off-guard a couple times.

en There have been some loop holes that have been put in [the original law]. I guess the biggest problem is there are some terms in the law that are misunderstood or misinterpreted by public officials. One of the main ones is, the law attempts to define what a meeting is. We always thought the law was clear, that the parts of the meeting that were supposed to be open would be discussions, whatever matters were pending, debate and the votes.

en I sensed, according to the paper anyway, disappointment in the meeting and maybe a lack of information being shared from the study. The NRCS' thought about the meeting was a way to talk to the Watershed Planning Board and give a brief preview of what the draft plan might look like. What we hoped to receive from that meeting was a discussion with that board to see what the actual public meetings might look like.

en It's been fun meeting players from across the country and meeting coaches from around the NFL. The Titans' staff has taught us a lot this week. Everything at this level is a lot more efficient, so you can't help to learn something from these coaches.

en She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. Usually at the end of the season there's a league meeting where coaches meet to plea (a) players' case. But I couldn't make that meeting and the other coaches named Julia to the team because they recognized her talent.

en What attracted me to Bob was my initial meeting with him when I met with all the assistant coaches. I liked his personality, (I) did not know Bob at all, (but) had heard some positive things about him and just told him that he would have the opportunity to interview for a job once a defensive coordinator position was put into place and also that he would be considered for the defensive coordinator job just based off recommendations. He just impressed me.
