en They have proven to be quite meritorious. I guess our words didn't really play well in Peoria.

en Tonight, we didn't play with a sense of urgency. This was a huge game. Peoria is a division opponent. But we had more of the same, which was soft play.

en We should secure and keep the following: the blessings of meritorious deeds, wealth, grain, the words of the spiritual master, and rare medicines. Otherwise life becomes impossible.

en It didn't look like we wanted to play very bad. I don't know, we just didn't want to play smart baseball. We know Rogers, we knew what their pitcher was going to do. I guess they just didn't listen during practice.

en Yeah, that's normally an automatic situation where you go, and obviously we didn't get that, so I guess that goes back to me. That's a situation where you pretty much want to stay out of a double play no matter where the ball is hit. Like I said, I guess I didn't relay that info good enough.

en I don't know what to say about that play. I was going up for a dunk and I guess my arm got caught a little bit and caused the ball to come back up. I guess it didn't go all the way through the net. It's just one of those weird plays that the basketball gods ... they didn't let the ball go through. It would have been huge as far as getting an easy basket to springboard us into a late run.

en Peoria Christian was a good opponent for us. I was pleased with the way we responded after (Peoria Christian) pulled to within 2-1. Our defensive unit has really come together and we are now able to get a lot of people scoring for us.

en I know a lot of people were down on us in the first part of the season, but we played some tough teams. We played Peoria Manuel, Danville, Lincoln. We didn't play the 'Weak Sisters of the St. Teresa.' I think that prepared us for this playoff run.

en We didn't shoot well. We didn't pass well. We didn't get back on defense the way we normally do. When you don't do that, you're bound to lose. I guess because of the four-day stay in Greenville, we were just fatigued. But that's no excuse. We just didn't play well.
