en I feel equally at home in large or small bands. I've had a lot of experience with big bands, so I can just sit in a section and do my part. Although I like small bands better. There's more freedom - especially if you're the leader. You can play the tune you want and the tempo you want.

en That was part of the whole original concept. We were thinking, it's off-season, let's do a really fun, local-oriented event, raise money for good causes and bring some music to the valley.

en As one of the most successful and longest running bands in Christian music, Audio Adrenaline has made tremendous impact in the lives of their loyal listeners. They have also been a strong influence and positive role model for many of today's emerging bands. She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. en I try not to keep in mind what's going on currently in music. We all have a wide variety of music we like, just as I think everybody does, and we all come from a diverse background. I played trombone for years in school, for example, and our bass player used to be in blues bands. I just try to keep in my mind what I think is good music. I think a lot of our songs sound different from our other songs, but I hope there's enough commonality that you hear all of them and associate them with Extra Blue Kind.

en Everybody has causes that they believe in and personal philosophies, and everybody feels strongest about different things. And all of this comes out because we try to speak what we believe. Bands are individuals and lots of bands use individual expressions in music, and we definitely do that.

en The best part of traveling was being able to see a diversity of places. In Baltimore, we were in the city every day. In Bar Harbor, we were right at Arcadia National Park, which was very beautiful.
