This is something all of baseball should be celebrating and it's probably unlikely that they're going to be, to be honest, a lot of people. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, embrace your quirks and celebrate your individuality.

Jim is a real honest guy. I knew I deserved to be on the team, but I couldn't be mad because he was honest about the situation. You don't always find people like that in baseball. He's just a really decent person.

Seeing Sammy out of baseball for now is really sad. I think he has enough power to do something for baseball, for someone. I'm surprised no one gave him a chance. This is a guy who brings a lot of fans to the field. This is a guy who can turn any game around any time. But this is baseball. People don't believe he can do it anymore.

People only remember Gene because he never won. He's one of the finest baseball minds I've ever been around. When you talk to anyone who played for him, managed against him, they're going to tell you what a great baseball mind he has. You could spend 24 hours talking baseball with him.

A lot of times, people think that this is New York, and you're never going to find an honest person who's going to turn something in. But people are honest. They really are.

Maybe if we crept in in the seventh or eighth spot, we'd be celebrating. But we know we can clinch the division. We're definitely not celebrating just getting in. That's easy right now.

When we got the victory, everybody was celebrating. But I really wasn't celebrating, because we've got to build from this win. We can't just win and get inconsistent. We have to stay consistent.

Obviously we're celebrating a 36-year legacy on ABC and the end of an era but we're also celebrating the start of a new era with this great property on ESPN. It's a bit of mixed emotions.
